Through our work with the Business Council of Cooperatives and Mutuals, we know just how much of an impact cooperatives are making and how important they are as a solution to some of the most challenging development issues, ultimately fostering resilient communities across Australia.
Over six months in 2024, we delivered five bespoke leadership courses for current and emerging leaders from across Southeast Asia on behalf of the Australian Government.
In response to challenges in the care sector, the Care Together Program has been established as Australia’s first co-operative and mutual enterprise support program in social care and we are trusted to manage the program on behalf of the Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals (BCCM).
The Aus4Innovation (A4I) program, funded by DFAT and CSIRO, is a crucial initiative for fostering innovation cooperation between Australia and Vietnam. Strategic undertook a comprehensive reorientation of the MEL approach for the A4I program and continue to provide ongoing MEL support to the program.
The Royal Freemasons Benevolent Institution (RFBI) identified an opportunity to expand their aged care facility in Holt, and needed to apply to rezone the site for development with the ACT Government. To ensure that the community were consulted and heard throughout this process, RFBI sought the expertise of Strategic to conduct comprehensive consultations with stakeholders and locals.
For 11 years, Strategic facilitated and chaired the Ginninderry People and Place Group, a representative forum that brings together community groups, businesses, traditional custodians, social services, environmental groups and technical specialists to ensure community views are heard and to inform the development.
A crucial component of the Pacific Fusion Centre (PFC)’s mission is the periodic review of its governance model to ensure it remains relevant and effective. Strategic conducted the inaugural performance review and produced a detailed report to enhance the governance and operational effectiveness of the PFC.
The objective of this assignment was to prepare and finalise an updated Investment Design Document (IDD) for the Australia Assists program Phase 2. The document would define the strategic direction for the program for the next five years in alignment with the new Australian Government Development Policy (August 2023), build on existing successes and take advantage of emerging opportunities.
